A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Traci Robison earned a BA in anthropology and economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and focused on medieval history and culture while completing her MA in museum studies. She works as a writer and archivist, often drawing inspiration from the unique historic documents she encounters in her daily work.

Growing up listening to her older siblings' ghost stories, Robison developed a penchant for gothic horror and vampire tales. Her completed works and current projects are horror novels set in medieval and ancient cultures. She was co-author of an article in Collections: A Journal for Museum and Archives in 2005.

She lives in Nebraska with her husband James and beloved family pets, Sadie, Tali and Astrid.
