Following last months’ NaNoWriMo challenge, things have slowed down a bit. I’m still plucking away at Risen in the evenings when I get home from work, but mostly I’ve been trying to nail down the first hundred pages. There’s a lot that takes place in those pages, and I need to make sure that it captivates the reader and gives them reason to turn each page. Overall, it’s going well, but a lot of work has yet to be done.
